Orian Area Rug Return Policy

Orian provides a one-year limited replacement warranty. Orian warrants (to the original purchaser) that our area rugs will be free from any material or manufacturing fault or defect which would prevent our area rugs from giving satisfactory service for a period of one-year from the date of delivery to the original seller. This limited warranty does not include any damage to the area rug caused by normal or extraordinary wear and tear, commercial use, improper maintenance or any damage caused by factors not inherent in the area rug at the time of purchase. Material and manufacturing defects will be determined by an Authorized Orian Rugs’ Quality Inspector. Orian Rugs, at its sole discretion, will replace or refund (to the original purchaser) for the price of the area rug if a manufacturer’s defect develops under normal use during the warranty period. To register a complaint under this warranty, simply contact your Authorized Orian Rug Dealer or Orian Rugs’ Customer Service Department (see below). Proof of original purchase is required. The replacement warranty does not cover certain inherent characteristics in area rugs, including which may affect the product’s appearance and/or performance over time.

“If upon delivery you receive a damaged rug due to transit please notify us immediately. As well please inspect your rug and within 7 days please notify us if your rug is dirty, discolored or damaged. If you change your mind and choose not to keep your rug you may return it and pay a 20% restocking fee. Credit can only be issued for a no fault return if merchandise is unused and returned prepaid to Orian undamaged. Credit given upon inspection at Orian. Cancellations are not final until confirmed by Orian.” Please obtain a return authorization before returning any product.



 In the event a rug of any size should arrive to your store, warehouse or customer’s residence and is damaged, please proceed in the following manner. Reject the shipment of the rug so we can properly file a claim with the carrier. If for some reason the rug is not rejected, please photograph the rug and send the photo to returns@decorthehome.com and dispose of damaged rug.


The replacement warranty does not cover certain basic characteristics which may affect the product’s appearance and/or performance over time. It is only applicable to rugs that used properly and maintained at normal temperature and humidity.


Damaged caused by misuse or accidents, such as staining, heavy soil, burning of the rug in any fashion, floods, cutting or slicing; weakening caused by improper cleaning methods; or damage by pets is not warranted. We do not consider claims on rugs placed on stairs or ramp entrances that are susceptible to heavy traffic.


Color changes in the rug resulting from external causes such as fading due to spills of household chemicals and other synthetic substances are not covered.


The warranty does not cover pile pressure which may affect pile fibers due to varying weight and traffic on or over your area rug’s surface during use. We are not responsible for damage caused by failure to use protective chair pads under chair or roller casters.


These warranties are only applicable in the United States and Canada.
